Baseball defeats Bishop Amat in nail-biter, with a final score of 4-3

On Saturday, March 21 the Mira Costa baseball team faced off against Bishop Amat at home, winning 4-3.

The boys were able to pull through, winning by one, with a final score of 4-3. They were ahead the entire game until the bottom of the fourth, where the Mustangs were tied with Bishop. However, the boys were able to make one more run, securing their win.

Pitching during the game was Junior Trevor Franklin and Senior Miles Kluth. Out of 96 pitches, Franklin threw 66 strikes while out of six pitches Kluth tallied six strikes.
