Costa’s swim team finished its season on May 15 in the CIF finals. Three Costa swimmers were able to qualify for the final event, and Costa placed 36th out of 40 teams.
Senior Ed Jeon swam the 100-yard breaststroke and placed 6th, junior Ian Campbell swam in the 500-yard freestyle and placed 14th and sophomore Paige Richardson competed in the girls in the 1-meter diving event and placed 8th.
“Everyone competed at a high level, and some of us had our best times yet,” Jeon said.
Girls varsity finshed 3-5 overall, while boys finished the season 3-4-1 overall.
