Every Tuesday, the Pupusa Booth is set up at the Manhattan Beach Farmers Market, attracting customers from all over the South Bay.

The Pupusa Booth makes pupusas and freshly squeezed lemonade. The booth provides quality food, a fully customizable menu and pleasant customer service.

For 10 years, this family run business has been traveling around Los Angeles selling papusas to thousands of customers. Pupusas are a Salvadoran dish traditionally handmade with a thick corn tortilla filled with cheese, meat, beans and vegetables.

The Pupusa Booth uses a family recipe to ensure that the dishes remain committed to being authentic Latin American cuisine.

The booth offers a customizable menu, allowing customers to mix and match pupusas with fillings of seasoned pork, roasted chicken, grilled beef, shrimp, vegetables, black beans and mozzarella cheese. The variety of flavors to choose from gives the booth a more diverse appeal.

Along with the mouthwatering pupusas, the booth sells four flavors of freshly squeezed lemonade with chunks of ripe fruit, including original, strawberry, four berry and pineapple passion fruit. The lemonade pairs well with the papusas because its sweet and sour flavor contrasts well  with the rich and savory flavors of the papusas. Prices range from $2.50 for a small cup of lemonade to $4 for a large cup , a largely reasonable price for a quality drink.

Additionally, customer service at the Pupusa Booth is sensational. The cashier is extremely friendly, and all of the other employees greet each client with a smile. The main chef welcomes many repeat customers by name and charms new ones with her approachability. The employees are helpful and happy to answer any questions regarding the food the customers may have.

Overall, the Pupusa Booth  at the Manhattan Beach Farmers Market is a charming place with wonderful service and authentic flavors. It is a refreshing glimpse into classic Latin cuisine. One pupusa is sold for $4, and two are sold for $7.
