Combining their love for the beach and swimsuits, Juniors Ceca Radl and Bella DeMarco have been chosen to be the new ambassadors for their favorite swimsuit companies, Bkrn Img and Sed de Mar.
Demarco was contacted by Brkn Img, and soon after Sed de Mar got in touch with Radl. Both Radl and Demarco began posing in their companies bikinis and sharing their pictures on their personal instagrams.
“I was obsessed with Sed de Mar bikinis last summer and when they first followed me on Instagram I was so excited,” Radl said. “It all just worked out so nicely. I’m a bikini-a-holic so it was all perfect because I receive free bathing suits that I think are really cute.”
Sed de Mar is a company stationed in San Jose, Costa Rica run by Catalina Jenson. Looking to expand their customers, Jenson approached Radl via Facebook and offered her an 8-month contract, which states that she has to send in pictures of her wearing the specific bikinis sent to her every three months and occasionally post on pictures of herself wearing the bikinis on her personal instagram.
“I go to Costa Rica several times a year because I have a house there so I know a lot of shop owners from the area, one of them I know fairly well because I buy a lot of bikinis from her. She happened to be friends with Catalina and made it easier for me to receive the sponsorship,” Radl said. “I’m extremely satisfied with the whole sponsorship. It works for me and for Sed de Mar so it’s great.”
Similar to Radl, Demarco was contacted by Brkn Img through Instagram. Demarco said that Brkn Img pick people with popular accounts, with a beachy look to fit their brand to be their ambassadors. Their goal is to advertise their swimsuits and spread their company’s name to various customers.
“It’s really fun being able to interact with the company and the people that work there,” Demarco said. “It’s also great that I receive free bikinis because I spend most of my time at the beach. It all works out for both me and the company.”
Like Radl, Demarco gets rewarded in ambassador discounts and free bikinis. Although she does not have a contract with Brkn lmg, Demarco is required to take pictures to rep for the brand and post them on social media to spread the word in order to make the company more well known.
“I enjoy being an ambassador for their brand because their company promotes a really good cause. All of their bikinis are handmade out of recycled material,” Demarco said. “I’m proud to help this company because they’re doing a part to take care of the environment.”
