Mira Costa’s girls volleyball crushed Inglewood 3-0 at an away game on Thursday. They kept their Bay League winning streak alive, with top performances made by junior libero Emily Dubinsky and sophomore libero Riley Hazelrigg.

The Mustangs won all three games, 25-3, 25-6, and 25-4, with help by Dubinsky and Hazelrigg. According to senior outside hitter, Amanda Montag the team kept their errors low and served well to take the other team out of system.

“We served consistently and played defense on our toes,” senior outside hitter Hannah Scott said.

Costa, now 3-0 overall in Bay League, will play Morningside High School on Wednesday at Mira Costa. The Mustangs will need to have the same amount of energy during their next game says junior middle blocker Alexandra Kelly.

“It will fine tune all the small technical aspects of our game so we can perform at the highest level possible,” Montag said.
