Though the girl’s tennis team has finished their season, sophomore Maegan Manasse remains undefeated in the singles competitions. On Nov. 19 at the Seal Beach Country Club, Manasse won all three individual matches to continue her CIF play.
Manasse’s three wins added to her season record of 63-0. In the first round, the sophomore shut out Veronica Nevarez from Patriot High School by a score of 6-0. In the second round, she defeated Maral Tavitian from Westridge Prep by a score of 6-1. Manasse swept Shannon Gibbs in the third round with scores of 6-0 and 6-1.
Maegan Manasse soared through her first round matches and will play again at the Seal Beach Country Club on Dec. 2.
