“All I want for Christmas is a Benefit Show” will help support the homeless living in Los Angeles

Get ready to break out you’re ugly Holiday sweaters because this Saturday, December 11, Lend a Hand Club will be putting on a benefit show called “All I want for Christmas is a Benefit Show” and it’s “ugly” sweater –themed. The show is being put on to raise money for Lend a hand Club, which helps support the homeless living in Los Angeles.

The money made from the show will help Lend a Hand Club pay for supplies to feed the homeless on skid row during the holiday season and make donations to soup kitchens.

“I’m really excited for the benefit show,” Lend a Hand Club Vice President, senior Rachel Waters said. “Hopefully we can raise at least three hundred dollars.”

The show will feature bands and musicians from Mira Costa, like Thiftis, The Papa Dams, and Good Fellas. Other performers include; The Lend a Hand Club board members, Niko Escudero, Christian Stanbrook and DJ Stanfil, Kristy Kim, and Brandon Hafetz and Michael de Virgilio of Eden’s Bliss.

The show will begin at 5:30 and end before 10 pm. It costs $5 at the door when you bring a canned good. Food and drinks will be sold inside.
