Young adults and teenagers dressed to the nines at weekend one of the three day Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, as the bohemian inspired outfits were unique and elaborate.
The outfits at weekend one of Coachella were phenomenal due to the obvious thought put into them, their daringness, and their trendy-bohemian vibes. Every outfit seen was clearly attentively crafted, as colors were coordinated and textures were strategically combined. Secondly, the bold nature of the attire was impressive, as many left little to the imagination or wore sequins, animal prints, and mesh. Finally, the overall bohemian vibes seen in the knitted attire and long skirts was appreciated due to it’s ode to traditional Coachella style.

Coachella is hosted by entertainment group Goldenvoice and is located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley. It has been held since 1999 and has hosted artists such as Madonna, Jack Johnson, and Kendrick Lamar. Coachella is notorious for it’s celebrity attendees and daring bohemian fashions.

This year, celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez, and Drake attended the festival. Each of these celebrities donned outfits that embodied the Coachella Style. For example, Jenner wore a knitted dress with a crazy green wig for one day and an entirely snakeskin look for another day. Gomez sported an entirely blue and yellow floral look for one day while Drake dressed in all leather.

Coachella attendees obviously put time into deciding their outfits which contributed to their quality. For example, many girls matched their outfits with color coordinating chokers or earrings. Additionally, friend groups that attended the festival together selected a color to wear for each day.
Second of all, the outrageousness of the outfits at the festival was appreciated. Many girls wore solely bralettes with shorts which exuded confidence. Additionally, many wore see-through dresses with swimsuits underneath and embroidered fabrics. This extravagancy made the festival feel special and a unique experience.

The traditional bohemian feel was maintained at weekend one of Coachella. This was seen in the style, as people dawned maxi skirts, knitted crop tops, and flowing fabrics. The hair and makeup also embodied the traditional hippie feel, as people had dread locks, flash tattoos, and glitter painted on their face.
Overall, the dedication put into the outfits, the outrageousness of them, and their traditional Coachella feel contributed to another year of fantastic festival fashion. Celebrities and commoners alike wore arguably the best looks of 2017, and it is only April.
