Senior Scarlett Luo and sophomore Eric Mai send the shuttlecock to the other team after receiving the previous point. Luo went on to make many points for Costa which led to their win.
Senior Luo serves the shuttlecock to start off the new rally against the same opponents they defeated in the first rally. Mai helped Luo with many of their points, which helped make an easy win.
Senior Audrey Kim and freshman Sam Liu receive the shuttlecock in their match against Cabrillo high school. Kim has played badminton all four years and has helped with many wins for the team.
Seniors Alyssa Chen and Jennifer Miao serve the ball against Cabrillo high school and end the match with a win against their opponents. Chen and Miao have been working hard off-season to help them defeat the other teams in doubles.
Kim and Liu get ready for the serve to come from the other team during their match at the Manhattan Beach Badminton Club. The mustangs have done very well and are getting a good start to their season.
