The Manhattan Beach Education Foundation held a screening of “Inventing Tomorrow” on Dec. 4 in the Costa auditorium.

The documentary follows several young scientists from around the world who aim to tackle environmental issues that affect their communities. After collecting original scientific research, they travelled to Los Angeles to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.

“I was awed by how the students were driven by their passions to explore and investigate,” Costa science teacher James Locke said.
