The Mustang’s wrestling team traveled to San Fernando on Jan. 22 to compete in the San DeJohn tournament. Mira Costa competed against Granada Hills, California, San Fernando, and Channel Islands in the one day tournament.
Junior Ian Goodbody and senior Weston Carico placed fourth in their respective weight classes. The boys battled without seniors Justin Tam and Nico Ledesma as well as junior Tyler Emery.
The Mustangs will try to assert themselves when they host Bay League rival Redondo High School on Jan. 27.
