LACMA opens two new exhibits showcasing nature’s beauty

The Los Angeles County Museum of Arts is now showcasing its two newest exhibits “Thomas Joshua Cooper: The World’s Edge” and “Every Living Thing: Animals in Japanese Art.” in the Resnick Pavilion. 

“Thomas Joshua Cooper: The World’s Edge” opened on Sept. 22 and is available to view until Feb. 2. The exhibit showcases scenic photography by Thomas Joshua Cooper including dramatic depictions of the ocean and land. 

“Every Living Thing: Animals in Japanese Art” also opened on Sept. 22 and is open until Dec. 8. The purpose of this exhibit is to highlight the importance that animals have in Japanese art and history.
