The Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk continued virtually for its 12th annual event on Oct. 5.
Skechers livestreamed a presentation with celebrity appearances from former quarterback and broadcaster Tony Romo, actor Dallas Young and more. The event raised $1,846,480 for the Friendship Foundation, an organization that supports children with special needs, and public education foundations.
“I would say that the most rewarding part of being able to participate in this event is helping out with the Friendship Foundation,” Skechers Teen Advisory Board member and Costa junior Molly Grimes said.
