Handel’s, a newly opened homemade ice cream shop in the Manhattan Village Mall, is the best new ice cream shop in Manhattan Beach.

With a great location, amazing overall vibes, and a vast assortment of well-priced sweet treats, Handel’s is the perfect place to go. Their high-quality, homemade ice cream is absolutely delicious and will leave one satisfied, and always wanting more.

Handel’s opened in the newly renovated Manhattan Village Mall in early September. This is their sixteenth location in California, and they have over 60 locations across the country.

The sorbets, sherberts, and ice creams are all creamy and flavorful, with the perfect balance between the ice cream and pieces of brownie bites, fruit, etc. Additionally, the ice cream is sweet and rich, without having a sickly or heavy feeling, which goes perfectly with the relatively large portion sizes.

Handel’s has an incredible array of ice cream flavors as well as various other sweet treats such as milkshakes, malts, banana splits, and ice cream cakes. With 50 different flavors to choose from, ranging from a simple chocolate to the unique caramel pretzel crunch, as well as multiple sherberts and vegan sorbets, there is a flavor for every occasion.

The exterior of the store is simple and aesthetically pleasing, decorated with red, white and blue stripes with an on-theme Handel’s sign on top of the overhang. There are multiple walk-up windows to order, with organized and quick lines. The service was impeccable, with friendly employees who are eager to give great flavor recommendations and answer any questions.

Handel’s is at 3360 North Sepulveda Boulevard in the Manhattan Village Mall and is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m daily.
