“M3gan”, a horror masterpiece, leaves a jaw-dropping audience.
“Megan” has a great storyline and leaves the audience wanting more. Every detail in this movie from the acting to the creation of M3gan itself is outstanding.
“M3gan ” was released on Jan. 6th, starting a lifelike doll with artificial intelligence to serve as a makeshift parent. Gemma, recent guardian of her eight year old niece Cady due to her losing her parents in an accident, becomes the primary user of M3gan. “M3gan” explores the universal themes of main characters dealing with grief and relying on something else to help distract from what is really happening. This film is also easy to relate due to the artificial intelligence and advanced technology since we live in a society where everything is advancing.
This storyline was like any other horror doll movie but it still left the audience tied in. There were moments of laughter, fear, and enjoyment making the movie much more enjoyable than others. The concept of this movie has an emotional touch leaving viewers more connected to the movie.
This movie was well organized and doesn’t take too long to get into the action. There were several surprises that this movie reveals through the actions of the doll, M3gan. The effects of the doll M3gan are very unique and exceed the expectations of what an AI doll looks like.
M3gan is full of surprises throughout the entirety of the film including her singing. In the movie M3gan she sings “Titanium” as a lullaby to her primary user Cady which catches the audience off guard. M3gan sings multiple songs in the movie but this one in particular shows how horrifyingly intelligent M3gan can be. The creepiness of the doll M3gan will keep you on the edge of your seat as she floats around to scare everyone.
The fascinating part of this film is how it is so unique from others. M3gan is its own original storyline and doesn’t copy or reinterpret another concept that’s already been done before. Compared to any other horror doll movies M3gan is a must watch and should be top of one’s must watch list.
Although M3gan is an excellent film it still has its “not-so-great” aspects to it. The movie was fast to move into action but was a little too fast at parts. There could have been scenes that could have been lengthened to give more depth. The movie could have been more interesting if there were more scenes instead of rushed.
Overall, “M3gan” was an excellent movie that is worth watching. The storyline of this movie had great ideas put into it making it entertaining. With this movie being fantastic and leaving the audience always on the edge of their seats.
“M3gan” was released on January 6th and is rated pg-13. The film can be seen in all theaters.
