Costa’s Grades of Green Club hosted an annual clothing swap April 14-15 in the Costa teacher lounge to encourage sustainable fashion and reduce waste.
The Grades of Green Club hosted multiple clothing bins throughout the office, library and student union as well as Manhattan Beach Middle School to gather donations. Students were able to donate their clothes earlier in the week and shop for “free” at the clothing swap event.
“The clothing swap was super fun and a huge success,” said junior Miya Ostboe. “It was really amazing to see other students and promote sustainability just in time for Earth day.”
