With all the music, photo opportunities and food, concertgoers were not left disappointed. The three day festival, Coachella happened on Apr 14-16 and Apr 21-23. It took place in Coachella Valley located in Palm Springs. This fun filled music festival is a perfect opportunity to have a chance to watch top artists for three days straight.
The three headliners were Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK and Frank Ocean. These talented artists had a huge stage in order to execute their music. Fans listened closely, grabbing their phones to film as they sang along. Coachella’s vast music variety poses as a great opportunity in order to include a bit of everything for the audience to jam out to.
Coachella has been around since 1999. This three day festival has continued to be a hit therefore does not seem to be stopping anytime soon. Because it offers so much, people keep coming back for more. Tickets can range anywhere from $700-$1,000 depending on when ordered.
Coachella had a variety of food options, ranging from curly fries, to pizza, to meat in a bun, one can find it all at the stands. These food shacks can be found all across the grassy arena. Not only are there food stands but lemonade and water can be found all around too. The lemonade is delicious and fresh as it is made right in front of visitors eyes.
Artists ranging from Gorillaz, Two Friends, Metro Boomin, Becky G, Labrinth, Charli XCX, Kid LAROI, Fisher, Flo Milli, MI, Big Wild were just some of the different music varieties that were featured across the three day period. Many artists were able to perform their music and give their loyal fans a show of a lifetime with intriguing effects from the screen and the back up dancers.
Coachella is a place for all. Many different age groups take part in this festival. Ranging anywhere from 16-55. It is surprising seeing people that could pass as one’s parents or siblings gaming out to house music alongside one another, but it just adds to this amazing experience.
Not only does Coachella offer music but also art forms other than just singing. The ferris wheel is always a hit.The famous rainbow stairway located in the center is a perfect photo opp and completely free. The cool air inside is a great spot to escape the heat. Huge flowers and moving bright pink balls can be found at different points adding to the art this place has to offer. The palm trees light up at night adding to the whole color effect. Lastly there are balloons that get changed out everyday that would hang over everyone, which contributed to a bright night.
The Yuma and Dolab is where the best beats are dropped. Intense house music is performed there, so loud you can actually feel it in your heart. Those tents definitely attract a lot of the younger audience providing a place where people can listen to funky music as lasers shoot up to the sky. The other stages are called Coachella Main Stage, Outdoor Stage, Sahara Tent, Mojave Tent, Gobi Tent and Sonra Tent. Though intense house music isn’t as common, these stages still provide great shows and music of all genres. With different types of music constantly being played throughout the day, using the Coachella app in order to see all the artists showtimes is advised.
