The response to this incident involved the collaborative efforts of the Hermosa and Manhattan Beach Police Departments, supported by K9 units for explosive detection, aerial drones, and local fire departments providing assistance. An ongoing investigation is currently in progress to identify the individual responsible for the false bomb threat call.

According to HBPD, the safety and well-being of the public were of utmost importance. Police enforcement worked to ensure the security of the area, while K9 units meticulously searched the vicinity for any signs of explosives. Drones provided critical aerial surveillance to monitor the situation from above.
