The third CIF Southern Section (CIFSS) pool play match of girls volleyballs’ postseason schedule took place on Saturday Oct. 28. The Mustangs played against Huntington Beach High School and won the match 3-0, going undefeated so far in the postseason.
“We played a great game,” Junior outside hitter Lauren Becker said. “We had great passes and communication.”
The final game of CIF pool play is this Saturday, Nov. 4. The Mustangs are going up against their rivals, Mater Dei in the biggest game of the year.
