Costa played a CIF game on Nov. 8, against Huntington Beach at home. The Mustangs came back from early game adversity but fell 13-7 to the Oilers.
“I love my boys and we worked hard to get to this point and I am proud of everything we did,” Senior varsity captain Maddox McEwen said. “I loved the guys and loved the grind this season.”
This was Costa’s last game of the season. They ended the season with a bay league record of 8-0 and an overall record of 18-13.
