Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) held its “Manhattan Beach Unified Stands United Against Hate” from Nov. 12-18 to raise awareness about intolerance in the community and provide a safe environment in each school.

United Against Hate Week is a national effort, and this is MBUSD’s second year participating in it. On Tuesday, Costa showed a homeroom video and provided free lawn and window signs.

“Uniting against hate is really important because it allows us to come together as a community and spend our efforts working together,” said senior Ella Ehrke.
