21 Savage’s new album exceeds expectations with diverse range of features

2 1 Savage’s Jan. 12 release, “American Dream,” incorporates talented artists and unique songs, making the album an artistic masterpiece.

 The new release is 21 Savage’s third solo album and first drop since his last 2018 album, ‘I Am > I …” The track includes 15 songs showcasing his own personal challenges in life, including street life and betrayal

“American Dream” is filled with carefully crafted lyrics, uplifting and inspiring listeners. Throughout the album, 21 Savage explores obstacles in his life, discussing these personal details with his audience to motivate listeners to push through their own hardships. His honesty fosters a strong bond between him and his fan base.

New listeners may be attracted to the album due to its diverse selection of contributing artists. Some of the artists featured include Doja Cat, Summer Walker, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Brent Faiyaz. Brent Faiyaz made a notable contribution to “Should’ve Worn a Bonnet,” with his smooth R&B style.

Born in London and later raised in Atlanta from the age of 7, Savage has lived much of his life as an undocumented immigrant, not allowed to drive or fly because he, did not possess a government ID. 21 Savage has sung about his troubles becoming a legal citizen and feeling like a true American.

The second song on the track, “All of Me,” addresses issues with involvement in street life, finding loyalty, and accepting fame. He reflects on challenges he has dealt with, demon- strating his persistence while highlighting the complexities of identity. Savage masterfully weaves in clever lyrics with word play like “see, my shooter pescatarian, but he eat up all the beef” and “I stand on business, dot my I’s and cross my T’s.”

The title of the song “Redrum” is a play on the word “murder” spelled backwards, creating a dark and menacing setting for the track. The introduction of the song sets up the listeners for a heavenly experience as the strings of a violin serenade the listener and lead into a beat drop. Throughout the song, 21 Savage explains his desire to and continue working hard for his success.

“N.h.i.e.,” is another successful track on the album because it features pop-sensation, Doja Cat. The song showcases Doja’s feminine vocals, producing an incredible harmony with 21 Savage’s deep notes. The song works to portray the importance of integrity and authenticity when facing hardships.

The song, “Nèe-nah,” features world-renown rappers Travis Scott and Metro Boomin. The track has an enjoyable melody and a combination of rappers create a very satisfying and fun nature to the track. The song showcases Savage’s talent to create an incredible collaboration with his fellow artists.

Another song, “Should’ve Wore A Bonnet,” features R&B artist Brent Faiyaz, who is known for his spectacular voice and powerful lyrics. Faiyaz and 21 Savage complement each other’s styles and unique voices, producing an exceptional song that all listeners can appreciate and enjoy.

Savage has maintained his status as a worldwide phenomenon with this release. Savage’s album surpassed expectations with collaborations and harmonies that many fans only dreamed of. The album IS extremely special because it will be used in Savage’s debut film, “American Dream: The 21 Savage Story,” which will come out later this year. “American Dream” is available for streaming on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
