On March 2, Mira Costa’s boys tennis team defeated Long Beach Polytechnic at home by a score of 11-7.
Number one singles player senior Toni Cvitanic swept his matches 6-2, 6-1, 6-1. The number three doubles tandem of senior Matt Wah and freshman Michael Carella also swept with scores of 6-4, 6-2, 6-1.
The Mustangs play Chadwick High School on March 5 at the Peninsula Racket Club. The team’s record is now 2-0.
