Costa ASB holds its annual Winter Formal: “Winter Ball”

On Saturday, Feb. 10, Mira Costa held its annual Winter Formal from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Torrance Marriott. The theme was “Winter Ball.”

The dance offered many activities in addition to a DJ and dance floor. There was a caricature artist, a photo booth, and karaoke. Dinner and snacks were also provided, with catering from the hotel. According to activities director Lisa Claypoole, although the dance was smaller than previous years, with about 600 attendees, formal was a huge success.

“Even though we didn’t have as many attendees as last year, the energy was there and there was a ton for people to do,” said ASB special events coordinator Ava Federici. “It seemed like everyone was having a really great time.”
