Despite the high price of tickets, hotels, and food, the cost of Coachella is absolutely worth the experience. The opportunity to watch artists from different genres perform live and enjoy this emotional experience with other music-lovers makes the high cost of Coachella worth it.

The Coachella line-up includes top names in rock, pop, and hip-hop, with a blend of emerging artists and established performers. Organizers remained committed to keeping the festival fresh, and very few acts have made repeat appearances. This year Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat headlined the event, attracting massive fan bases. The festival allowed for people to discover smaller artists including Dom Dolla and John Summit, both of whom established close relations with their fans with high-performance energy and intense lighting and stage decor.

A major aspect of the festival that kept attendees engaged was the incredible variety of special guests featured in the sets. Eachartist at Coachella is allowed to bring out a special guest of their choosing to liven up their set, and the special guests this year did not disappoint. These featured artists included Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Mac Demarco, Nellie Furtado, A$AP Rocky and Metro Boomin. Attendees were ecstatic to watch these iconic artists perform and to witness unique collaborations and blending of music styles.

Although Coachella is mainly a music festival, other recreational activities, including the rainbow tower and ferris wheel, kept guests entertained between sets. The ferris wheel and rainbow tower both make for stunning photo-ops and, even though they might have long lines, are a great way to kill time throughout the day and catch a break from the harsh desert heat. The venue also hosted a variety of food vendors, including fan-favorites alike acai bowls and pizza slices. Although the food was wildly overpriced, this cost barrier can be overcome by simply bringing your own snacks and preparing meals.

Coachella features a wide range of artists, but many of the music venues were centered around house party music. The DoLab, an outdoor stage with vibrant decor, and the rave-style Yuma Tent played house music for the entirety of the festival. Both of these sites brought the festival to life with energetic tunes and strobe lights. Even though many attendees thoroughly enjoyed these stages and see them as a part of the Coachella experience, some argue it was unnecessary to have such a large number of performances playing house and techno music.

The Coachella festival held its first weekend of performances April 12-14 and its second week end April 19-21. For more information visit www.coachella. com.
