The Mira Costa boys baseball team swept their double header against the La Palma Kennedy Fighting Irish. Mira Costa won the first game 13-8 and finished off the double header by winning the second game 8-4. With this win, the Mustangs improve their record to 6-2.
The Mustangs showed lots of offensive potential throughout both games scoring many runs. Senior Brett Collins and junior Ian McLoughlin contributed three RBIs. Junior Ryan Franklin added two RBIs as well. Senior Sean Isaac also led with a three-run homer.
The Mustangs play the El Segundo Eagles in another double-header on March 23 in a tough non-league matchup.
