The Mira Costa Mustangs softball team played on May 12 at Palos Verdes in their final Bay League game of the year. With their win 9-5, they earned a share of the Bay League title with PV. They finish the season with a league record of 8-2 and an overall record of 21-6.
The player of the game was junior Meghan Von Behren, who delivered seven runs batted in with her three home runs, a two run double and a two run single.
Mira Costa will now move on to the playoffs in CIF, playing May 15.
