The boys tennis team dominated Palos Verdes and took the Bay League Championship Monday, May 03, 2010. The Mustangs won this prestigious title after beating the Sea Kings 10-8 last Monday. The top performers were doubles partners Brian Humbarger and Matt Sumen as well as Devon Sousa. Humbarger and Sumen had a sweeping victory in their matches.
Devon Sousa was victorious in his final match, which was the defining match in the entire meet. His victory set the win for the Mustangs in concrete. The Costa tennis team is proud to share the title of Bay League Champions with two other schools and looks forward to competing in CIF in the coming weeks. Their next game is the CIF singles meet, Wednesday, May 5.
