The boys water polo team hosted its rival Redondo on Oct. 18 at Costa.
The game was never closely contended as Costa’s offense could not be stopped. The final score of the game was 13-2 in Costa’s favor.
The player of the game was junior goalie Ian Zaun making 14 saves to help his team to victory.
The Mustangs record now moves to 9-11 overall and have a tough upcoming slate of games before CIF. They play Palos Verdes away on October 20 and proceed onto play in the Orange County Tournament lasting from Monday October 24 to Saturday the 29.
