On Nov. 8, the Mira Costa girls volleyball team swept Millikan High School in the first round of CIF. Costa won the first game 25-13, the second game 25-12, and the third and final game 25-9.
Junior Corie Bain gathered five kills and 25 assists while senior Maddy Klineman led with nine kills and four digs. Junior Grayce Campbell recorded six kills and six digs while senior Katie Warshaw had 10 digs.
The Mustangs (20-11) will take on Orange Lutheran away on Thursday, Nov. 10 for their second CIF match.
