The Mira Costa girls tennis team lost in the first round of CIF on November 10. The defeat came from the fifth seed, Palm Desert, on the road.
Junior Maegan Manasse won three sets and sophomore Paula Cenusa added a pair in the singles bracket in the Mustangs 6-12 loss. Junior doubles team, Carly McGuire and Hanna McGuire won one doubles set.
Manasse will continue her play in CIF Individuals on November 18.
