On Thursday, Nov. 30, the Mira Costa girls soccer team opened their season with a lost to Santa Monica High School, bringing their record to 0-1.
The team had seven varsity starters on the bench, putting the freshman in a position to play in the match. The team loss 1-0, but are not worried for the rest of the season.
Costa will play their next game on Friday, Dec. 2 against Bishop Montgomery High School.
