On Wednesday, Jan. 11, Mira Costa girls water polo team lost to Warren at Downey High School with a score of 5-4. The Mustangs’ loss makes their overall record 8-3 and Bay League record 0-1.
Junior Emily Milstead and senior goalie Bianca Magno both excelled in offense and defense respectively.
The water polo team’s next game is against West Torrance and will be its second Bay League game. It will be played at Costa on Monday, Jan. 16.
