Following two consecutive losses, the Mira Costa baseball team won 3-0 against Downey High School on the road on Thursday, Mar. 1. This improves the team’s record to 2-2. Junior Gordon Cardenas pitched a complete game shutout. Junior Austin Henning drove in a run with a sacrifice fly out.
Costa faces the winner of the match up between Long Beach High School and Wilson High School this Saturday, March 3rd.
