On Wednesday April 11 the Mira Costa baseball team defeated West Torrance, 5-1 in the team’s Bay League opener. The team’s record improves to 11-8 overall and 1-0 in league.
Junior Chris Alcala pitched a complete game and allowed only three hits. Senior Turner Conrad had two doubles in the game and junior Kevin Lopez had two hits as well.
Costa faces West Torrance again on Friday on the The Mira Costa baseball team defeated West Torrance, 5-1, at home on Wednesday April 11 in the Bayroad.
