The Mira Costa football team opened its season on Friday, August 31 with a 35-13 victory on the road against Inglewood. Junior running back Brandon Mills rushed for three touchdowns on the night. Senior Josh Qerbash also contributed a rushing touchdown to the Mustangs’ win.
Costa hosts Serra High School on September 7 in hopes of starting the season 2-0.
