The Mira Costa girls tennis team began its season against Beverly Hills on September 5, winning 14 matches to 4. Junior doubles partners Alex Waller and Juliana Hoft won their match 6-4. Sophomore Brooke Swallows also won 3 out of her 3 singles matches.
Costa will play Long Beach Poly on September 6.
