The Mira Costa JV football team lost to Loyola High School 42-21 on Sept. 20 away. The team’s overall record is currently 2-2.
Sophomore Justin Yukonas had an interception as well as a kickoff return to help the Mustangs but was not enough to beat Loyola.
The team’s next game will be held at Newport Harbor on Thursday Sept. 27.
