Boys Water Polo triumphed Agoura Hills, 11-3

Mira Costa boys water polo defeated Agoura Hills High School,11-3 at home on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The top performer was junior Jake Carter with three goals. 

The Mustangs started off with a rocky start, letting their opponents have the upper hand at half time with a score, 3-2. Costa’s boys sped their game up, scoring eight goals in the second half, while Agoura only found the back of the net once. Leaving the Mustangs with a win, 11-3.

“We definitely started off a little rough, but we got it back together and had a really good second half,” Carter said.

The Mustangs are scheduled to play an away game at Palos Verdes High School on Thursday, Oct. 24. 

“The boys and I are fired up for a big underdog win, hopefully,” Captain, Senior, Ryder Theodore said.
