The Mira Costa girls Junior Varsity tennis team were defeated by Peninsula High School on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at home.
For singles, junior Maddie Coate won her set 6-4. For doubles junior Abby Zimmerman and sophomore Dana Sternthal won their set 7-5. Costa juniors Jill Sternthal and Christine Lester won their set 6-4, and sophomores Rachel Waxman and Michelle Tran won their set 6-3.
Their next game will be on Thursday Oct. 4 at 3:00 against Redondo Union High School at home.
Late reply, but the JV team actually did come back win this game. We ended up undefeated at the end of the year.
