In a neck and neck match, Costa’s boys basketball team beat Brentwood, 59-52, on Dec. 2. They were in the semifinals and are headed to the PacShores championships.

“We played good defense and had good rotations out of our traps,” sophomore small forward James Reach said. “We need to rebound and box out better next game.”

On Dec. 4, Costa will be competing in the PacShores Tournament Finals against Rolling Hills Prep High School. The basketball team has an undefeated record of 8-0 so far this season.

“We have a tough team to beat in the next game,” Reach said. “We have to compete consistently and strong to beat them”
