The Mira Costa girls junior varsity volleyball team lost 2-0 in its game against Redondo on October 11. The first set ended with a score of 25-7 and ended the second set with a score of 25-23.
Key players in the game include Ashley Anselmo who had two kills along with her teammate Erin Sagisi who had one block and one kill also.
“I think as a team we could’ve worked harder in the first half but we picked it up in the second half and it was just unfortunate that we lost” said sophomore Kyra Collins.
The team has its next game on Wednesday at Mira Costa against Palos Verdes at 4:15 pm.
