The Mira Costa water polo team played on Friday Oct. 19 and Saturday Oct 20 in the South Bay Tournament.
Costa beat San Marino in the first game 12-4, South Pasadena 15-8 in the second game and beat Montabello 9-8 in the third game.
Senior Jimmy Bissell scored 8 total goals between all of the matches.
“This tournament really showed all of the hard work the team has been putting into practices and matches this season,” Bissell said. “I hope it carries out until the end of the season.”
The Mustangs played on Monday, Oct. 22 against West Torrance High School at Mira Costa.
