The Mira Costa girls varsity water polo team lost their first home game of the season 14-5 to Los Alamitos High School. 14-5.
Senior captain Sarah Crist scored two out of the five goals for Costa.
“I think for playing such a good team, we really kept up with them,” sophomore Isabella Magno said. “We did not let them get too far of a lead and I think we played well.”
