The Mira Costa girls varsity water defeated West Torrance High School 16-3 on Wednesday, Jan. 30. The win gave Costa a 5-1 record.
Sophomore Kelly Giery scored 5 of the 16 goals in the team’s win.
“I did not expect us to being doing so well this season,” sophomore Isabella Magno said. “We all work so well together and have fun.”
The Mustangs play again on Monday, Feb. 4 against Peninsula High School.
