The Mira Costa boys varsity basketball team lost to Santa Monica High School in a tournament at El Segundo High School on Thursday Dec. 13 with 59-47.
Senior Cole Feaster led the team with 20 points, senior Kevin Kim scored 8 points and junior Justin Strings made 10 points.
“We played well but they were given a lot of turnovers and were able to win,” sophomore Gavin Reegan.
The Mustangs play in the next stage of the tournament Friday Dec. 14.
