The Mira Costa boys basketball team lost its Bay League opener at home on Jan. 11 against West Torrance High School. The Mustangs were unable to match West and ended up falling 53-47, making their records 13-4 overal and 0-1 in Bay League.
Junior Cole Feaster led Costa’s efforts with 11 points and four assists while senior Max Watson followed with nine points.
Costa will continue in Bay League on Jan. 13 away against rival Redondo Union High School.
