On Jan. 10, the Mira Costa girls basketball team lost 54-33 away to West Torrance in its first Bay League game. The Mustangs’ record is now 9-9 overall and 0-1 in Bay League.
Senior Ashley Reese led Costa with 11 points.
The girls’ next Bay League game will be on Jan. 13 away against Redondo Union High school.
