The Mira Costa boys varsity basketball team lost at home against rival Redondo Union High School on Friday Jan. 13, 57-47. The Mustangs now stand 1-1 in Bay League.
Seniors Dylan Kim, Ryan Kaseff and Oliver Mausner scored nine, nine and 10 points respectively.
“Friday we were all disappointed because we felt like we were the better team,” Kim said. “We just got caught up in the hype and lost focus.”
The Mustangs will face El Segundo at home on Saturday Jan. 13.
