The Mira Costa varsity boys basketball team suffered loss of 60-52, at home, against Leuzinger High School on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Making the Mustangs’ current record 2-2 in Bay League.
Seniors Ryan Kaseff and Cole Feaster led the game, scoring 13 and 20 points respectively, followed by junior Justin Strings who had a total of 8 points.
“We had a big lead but we lost all our energy after that,” senior Oliver Mausner said. “We need to work on maintaining our energy and focusing throughout the whole game.”
The Mustangs’ next match is away on Friday, Jan. 18 against Peninsula High School.
